分词（包含-ing,-ed）做状语放在主句后面能否表示缘由、条件或让步

我看一般说分词做状语放在后面表示随着、结果和对谓语的讲解。但也有如此的句子“i got to the office early that day，have caught the 7:30 train.我的理解是否前后其实是一样的？假如没歧义，那表示缘由，条件，让步都可以？谢谢！

“I got to the office early that day，having caught the 7:30 train.

目前分词doing形式作缘由状语，一般坐落于句首。但假如用了完成体，则在句末表示缘由也是可以的。但这种形式一般见于文学作品中，不会出目前平时交际中。所以这个句子给人非常别扭的感觉。这多半源于中国的语法考考试试题中。

实质语言可能是：

I caught the 7:30 train and got to the office early that day.

“I got to the office early that day，because I hadcaught the 7:30 train.
